When I was a kid we didn’t really go on vacation all the time. I think it is wonderful that families do this, we just went on ‘vacation’ a few times. My Dad was military so we moved in the summer about every three years. I guess that could be considered a vacation. We went someplace and it was new. It just ended up being where we would live for the next three years or so.

I am on vacation. Yep. Some of my teacher friends are teaching in Estes Park, Co and I came out to hang out with them for meals and sew in the room while they work. It is really fun for lots of reasons. No one knows who I am! I don’t have a name tag saying I am a teacher and my name is Charlotte Angotti….it is great fun. I am a regular quilter. I went to the show yesterday and had to pay to get in! I can’t remember the last time that happened. I usually get in with my name tag. I went around to the vendors and bought stuff. It was fun when they told me about fabric that I have used many times…how wonderful it is, how I should love to work with it. Being talked to like a regular quilter is really nice.

I love what I do. Traveling around and being the “teacher” is a great job. There are times when it is just really nice not being so ‘famous’. This is my vacation and I am not famous at all. Next month someone will ask me for my autograph but this month I just might ask someone for hers!
