This year I have been traveling like a globetrotter. It has been loads of fun but I reached a point that I really wanted to go home.
For the last two weeks I have done nothing but rest. I am getting up late, going to bed early, taking naps, staying inside. I went to my Mother’s house on Mother’s Day and back home to rest some more. I wish we could store sleep. That would be so wonderful for me.

My sprinkler system was broken and my sweet brother in law, Roger, fixed it for me. It has been going every other day for about 20 mins. I now live in a jungle. The grass is greener than it has ever been. Roger came by and changed it to two days a week. It should be a little better now. With the weather being so hot, the grass getting lots of sun and all that water it is amazing how good my yard looks. Not looking forward to that water bill though.

My little home stay is about over. I leave for Quilt Market in MN on Thursday. I think I can do it. I get to see some good friends there and it won’t be like real work for me. I love my job. I just got a little of an overload the first 4 months of this year. I am rested and ready to go now.

After being home all this time I am looking forward to getting back out there. Everyone needs a break now and then. I hope that you get one, too.
